Class News
Well we are only a few weeks in and so much has happened. The remains of something that was once living, has been found were Hoots used to be. Maybe this is what happens when homework isn't done on time! ( add evil cackle)

No, the tooth fairy will not beleive it is yours. Have we found any clues as to what it might have been?
The investigation continues!
We have started looking at cam-toys. If any one has any of these at home that we could borrow that would really help.
We have been using Lego kits to see if we could make moving toys.

We set about making some stepping stones. We designed our stepping stone in wet sound and then Mr Cantle poured cement onto them. We then dug out some holes and placed them into the ground. Michael cam up with the design and told us where t

We did get muddy knees! I ams orry about that.

We said goodbye to them, before we placed them into the ground. Is it me or do we all look like we are driving.



We spent ages getting the sand off.

School Trip
The whole of Key stage 2 went on a trip to Peterborough to find out about places of Worship.

We all wore head scarves to show our respect for the Sikh faith within the Gurdwara.

We were told about the origins of Sikhism.

Thumbs up if you like rice pudding?
The people at the Gurdwara were so kind. We even took part in Langar, where everyone is made welcome and all of the food is shared. We all sat together on the floor to show that we are all equal.

Houghton Primary School enters the longest line competition.

We were taken on a tour around the Cathedral. We didn't realise that it had so much history!
We all had a great day and we thank Mrs Harrison for taking us on the trip.
