General Information:

PE times - Tuesday afternoon & Wednesday morning.

Homework - Set weekly on a Friday and to be handed in on the following Thursday.

Timestables challenge - Monday afternoon.

Swimming for years 4,5 & 6 will take place in the Summer term this year.

Class News

 We had a really exciting day on Monday! On arrival at school, we discovered that an area near to the school car park had been dug up and that the remains of a body had been found. With the help of a paleontologist we began to examine the artefacts and looked for clues to help us find out more about the creature. The children came up with some interesting ideas, and we are now trying to gather further evidence to develop our theories.

Unearthing our dinosaur!

Our 'Dinosaur' theme continued into our Art week. We had great fun making dinosaur models from papier mache! (You may have spotted them outside the classroom drying.) Please pop in to see the finished results.

Our 'Extinction' topic now moves on to consider endangered animals. We are working on creating an 'Eden 2 - The Zoo'project. This will involve research skills, atlas and map work, production of a leaflet and developing our own web pages.

PLEASE HELP US KEEP CLEAN... could each child bring in an old shirt, T shirt or apron to wear during Art sessions!
